On a recent trip to Miami, I decided to take a long walk on the beach front. Much to my surprise I stumbled across a series of lifeguard towers that were colorful architectural marvels dotting the shoreline.
The initial set was designed by William Lane and were first constructed in 1995 after Hurricane Andrew devastated South Florida in 1992. There are now 31 towers in total along the beach and they reflect the lifestyle, aTristin personality and wonderful culture of Miami.

Each tower has its own personality and deserves its own story. Must admit I didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy all 31 but I’m capturing some of my favorites.

Highly recommend taking a stroll on the beach next time you head to Miami to enjoy all the beautiful lifeguard towers!
